Palazzo Stefanelli, Florence: Restoration and Subdivision

About this project

In Borgo Pinti, within the heart of Florence, a historic 19th-century building has been converted into 10 high-end residences spanning a total area of approximately 2,500 sqm. Designed by Pierattelli Architetture, the project strikes a balance between preserving the property's historical character and integrating contemporary solutions. The work by Iniziative Edili focused on high-end finishing details and key architectural features, including marble works, custom interior finishes, saunas, and Turkish baths. A significant portion of the intervention involved the meticulous restoration of historic frescoes and decorative elements—executed in strict adherence to the original features—alongside the recovery of the historic garden. Seamless coordination between architectural design, restoration, and execution preserved the palace's heritage while upgrading it to modern residential and technological standards.
