JP Morgan Chase Headquarters
New York City, United States
About this project
270 Park Avenue is the global headquarters of JPMorganChase, rising 60 stories in Midtown Manhattan. Designed by Foster + Partners, the 1,388-foot all-electric skyscraper features an innovative fan-column structural frame that lifts the building 80 feet above street level, creating a grand, light-filled public realm on the ground floor. The main lobby architecture is centered around a dramatic monumental staircase and vaulted mezzanine, defined by custom Italian travertine supplied by Travertini Paradiso. Using Travertino Bianco Dei, the honed, vein-cut stone panels line the expansive wall surfaces, stairwells, and reception consoles. The soft, warm linear textures of the Tuscan travertine balance the tower's dramatic dark steel bracing and soaring glass facade, establishing a grounded, timeless atmosphere for one of New York’s landmark corporate headquarters.
